The grand opening of Hong Kong's newest Ferrari and Maserati flagship showroom in Repulse Bay took place on January 18th 2012. The prominent new location will provide approximately 19,000 square feet of showroom space for Ferrari and Maserati in the heart of Repulse Bay, with state-of-the-art facilities and unobstructed views of the South China Sea.
The new dealership is the latest phase of an expansion plan undertaken by Italian Motors (Sales & Service) and Auto Italia Ltd. which, respectively, have represented Ferrari and Maserati in Hong Kong and in Macau for the last 29 years.
The new Repulse Bay location, set in one of the most prestigious and sought-after areas in Hong Kong, follows on from the Ferrari and Maserati 3S Center in Ap Lei Chau, opened in 2005, and the 2009 inauguration of the Ferrari and Maserati 3S Centre in Shatin in 2009. The new flagship dealer facility is fundamental to meeting the growing needs in this territory and signifies a commitment to providing the finest service to Ferrari and Maserati customers.
Repulse Bay is the natural choice for the location of Hong Kong's newest Ferrari and Maserati flagship showroom. With its balanced natural setting, feng shui experts have long praised the area for bringing wealth and good fortune. Repulse Bay sits squarely in front of a mountain where, folklore says, a dragon lives and the natural landform allows this dragon to descend into the bay and drink from its water, symbolising a source of thriving energy. With the mountains extending on both sides to surround the wide-arching beach and its deep blue waters, Repulse Bay is said to be celestially protected by a 'green dragon on the left and white tiger on the right', a rare natural gift in balance and harmony.
This natural setting, along with fine sandy beaches and a stunning mountain backdrop, creates an ideal setting of luxury and lifestyle and it has transformed Repulse Bay into the most prestigious and sought-after location. As such, the area is now home to many of the city's elite and therefore, it is the perfect location for the newest Ferrari and Maserati showroom.
The opening ceremony was attended by Dr Richard Lee, Chairman of Italian Motors (Sales & Service) and Auto Italia Ltd., Mr Herbert Adamczyk, Managing Director of Italian Motors (Sales & Service) and Auto Italia Ltd. and Mr Edwin Fenech, President & CEO of Ferrari Greater China.
